Default What design manifold, and what side for downpipe

Im going to try and make a manifold and am considering a log, but besides the log, are there any relatively easy designs I should consider? Also, Im not sure whether to run the downpipe from the passanger side or the drivers side. Is there a difference and any pros and cons?

are you trying to retaing PS or AC?? That is about the only reason i can see the side mattering....if you want to save AC, most setups have the exhaust side on the drivers side of the car...thats how my SPoolin log is anyway

nope, dont care about ac, so im going to take it off. It looks like there is much more room on the drivers side for the downpipe so im prolly going to go that way thanks

if you do the dp on the passenger side there will be less bends to get it under the oil pan. also, if you feel like trying to make a collector, or buying one pre-cut from (bmc-race.com), you could make a more efficient manifold, for probably not much more time or money. good luck

^^ I agree...if you don't care about AC or PS, put the DP on the passanger side because there are fewer bends...
