Hiflow cat - yes
test pipe - no

also depends on other mods, what sort of test it is etc...

you can buy a blox MIL eliminator from inlinefour.com, it's a little plug that goes into your test pipe putting some space between the exhaust flow and the o2 sensor. I made a homeade plug and it worked fine, passed emissions with a test pipe n everything...

a hiflow will pass, but a test pipe will not pass on a obd1 car, because the emission test is different. for obd1 they run it on a dyno with a sniffer in the muffler to actually read what the car is producing...on obd2 they just plug in a connector under the dash and read what the ecu is telling it. so if the ecu doesnt know anything is wrong, the car will pass.
