Remove all the extra weights: spare tire, jack/tools, rear seats, pass. seat, cargo cover, mats, etc...

Make sure your gas is near low. Play with tire pressures.

fold the mirrors in??? come on man..

pump up your rear tires to 42psi.
lower fronts to 18-20psi. don't know if you got slicks or radials or what..

ice down the intake between runs. let that bitch get nice and cold. push car up to line then fire her up, do burnout and go.

shallow stage and leave on last amber and sidestep that clutch hard.

burnout depends on what kind of tires you are using, correct? Ive heard not to do a burnout if you are on you regular street tires. And from my experience, it seems if I run too low air pressure, it give a really soft, slippery feel and not the best launch. If you are on slicks, then light them bad boys up.

What about your RPM at launch? I'm sure it's different for each car depending on mods but I have a hondata 4 and have the 2 stage rev limiter! What RPM do you guys recomend launching at. I also have CAI and Apexi Dunk cat back.
Any help is greatly appreciated....

It all depends on your power and weight of your car and of course if your on slicks or street tires(and than there is pressure and how sticky your tires are.)

With slicks, probably 6000-8000rpm launch
street tires, probably 3500-5000rpm(feathering a lot)

on slicks the highest ive taken is 7000 off the line . . on aftermarket clutch of course. im gonan step up a bit higher when i wire my 2 step up
on street tires and stock clutch , i only raced one race on st tires and dropped it at 4000-4500 or so and it kinda worked for me .
dont launch above 5500 or so on a stock clutch you will kill it quick . i have exp in that ,

He's only doing an 1/8th mile. I don't think the mirrors are gonna do that much.

Don't let the engine get too cold, else your VTEC won't engage...

Yes, I forgot about that; The stock clutch might not hold depending on your power.
