i started noticing this noise today, it sounds kind of like a lawn mower and i hear it when I'm on the throttle, and gets louder as i push more on the throttle. I thought it was an exhaust leak at first so i just went to a muffler shop.. i did have a leak, but thats not what the sound was so i was like what the fuuuuck. an ideas? valve tick?

gah its hard to explain the noise but yea it sounds low a slower lawn mower. . if that makes sense

 

maybe a sound clip could help you explain it.. just a thought..

is it sort of thick sounding like loud chatter and gets louder around 2500 rpms and up? if so, mine did the same thing, and died at an intersection and never ran again!

hmmm no lol

 

try to find some way to get a clip of the pic. if you have a friend with a digital camera with a video recorder on it or maybe a video camera post them up.
