Default Piston help

The top of my pistons look like they are really burnt like charred is that normal or is there something wrong? There is over 200,000 miles on my engine.

^^lol, Yea...

I'd say with 200,000 I'd say that's perfectly normal... Not saying it's a 'good' thing or 'not bad', but it's normal for a internal combustion engine..

do a leakdown test. That will let you know how healthy the engine is.

you do realize that's why it's called an internal combustion engine. that's where the fuel mixture explodes..
