HELP!! engine stutters every now and then after shifting into gear and giving gas!! It sometimes ha

My engine stutters every now and then upon accelerating after shifting. it sometimes has a rough idle too, but only when cold. Also, it smells like its running rich. can anyone help?

I just had to pleace my dizzy and I am having the same problem it almost feels and sounds like it is just puttering. I will let you know if I find out what was wrong with my car.
