Rear strut goes right behind the rear seat connection the rear struts.

There's also that stupid bar that goes behind the front seats in the rear seat floor area, and the Mugen bar that attaches just behind the rear seats in the middle of the opening.

OP needs to be specific.

It's a copy of the Mugen bar that goes just behind the seats in the cargo opening.

As far as ebay strut bars...you get what you pay for.

Yes, and Mugen gives you templates and rubber surround for where you cut. I doubt the ebay cheapos do the same thing.
