Hey all
I finally bought an R. I've always wanted one since they first came out but no money and goin to school. Also, my girlfriend's bro's obsession with his '98 R, reading posts on H-T for the past few months, and a great deal (I think) finally convinced me to buy the R.
The car's in great condition, bone stock with no mods, bought it from dealership for $28, 000 CAD (~$18,300 US). I met the previous owner when he came to the dealership to drop off the summer grips; he had it for a year and barely drove it, and traded it in for a Nissan Xterra. The car has 12 500 KM (~7770 miles), came with 2 sets of tires (practically new B.S. RE010's) and AC was included and installed in the deal due to a mix up by the dealer.Wish I didn't have to install AC, but gotta have it for long trips and really hot days.It also has red factory seats (2001 CAD model). It sounded to good, so I did a check on the VIN, and it was clean.
I was thinking of starting off by installing a comptech icebox and intake, and JDM DC 4-1 header. What do you guys think?I've heard and read alot of good things about these two bolt-ons.
Sorry for the long post, but I'm just really happy to finally own this awesome car.

Congradulations! The DC JDM is good for the price, and I hear good things about the Comptech Icebox. Some of the better parts. You can spend double or triple on a header and wait for it to come in (Spoon, TODA, Hytech...), but the DC won't hold you back until much higher power levels.
He's from Canada, and we'll leave it at that...
