Turbo b20... Block guard?

Default Turbo b20... Block guard?

Looking at going turbo on a stock internal b20 engine, should i use a block guard? and if so could someone please give me a list of requirements, and a step proses to install the guard. where i live no one has ever done an install, so need help with it...

block guards are useless, they dont improve the integrity of the sleeves. thus not giving you greater structural integrity like thickness of sleeves ect...

i have a block guard and i have no problems at all with cooling or cracked sleeves. All i did was buy an AC block guard and i filed it down so it fit nice and snug in the block. then i honed the block and started to fine fit my rings. Im not saying that block guards help the integrity of the block but if your going to have stock sleeves just in case i think you should have a block guard.
