how good is the F1 RACING STAGE 1 clutch for Sohc Vtec stock?

too good??? well i'm thinking of getting it tomorrow but are you serious? cause this clutch kit kinda cheap stuff...

 

Whats your setup going to consist of? Are you going to be building it in the future? Will it handle your hp goals? Those are things you wanna think of when buying a clutch in my opinion.

 

sounds like an eGay special, dont waste you time and money. Get a Exedy OEM replacement. Its slightly better than stock, and will do just fine.

 

Stage 1 exedy is that way to go, im running one and it grabs hard. But its about time to upgrade to a clutch to support about 300whp.

 

This clutch will be great for a D-seires, I have one in my DA and it is holding strong. But as everone else said, it is an ebay special, it isnt as good as exedy, but it is much cheaper and will get the job done. I say go with it.
