You just need a jumper harness to convert from OBD2 -> OBD1. Rywire offers a pretty good product.

Or you could call Hmotors and tell them you need an OBD2 motor and they'll sell you one. Then you wont need to change anything.

the reason i wanted it to stay obd-1 is because i want to do a chipped p28 and get rid of the obd-2 bullshit

The money you're going to spend on the Toda goodies, add LSD and boltons your are better off going with b16b which already has 15hp advantage, add to that proper mounts for 96-00 EK chassis, being OBD2 along with ECU its simply going be a simple bolt on job, where as b16a may require few little extras and $$$.

if your looking for a 200whp+ b-series all motor, i would NOT go b16. go for at least ls/vtec, gsr, or crvtec. type r is kinda pointless since your going to be building it anyways. here's what i would do for a 200whp build:

B20z block
ARP Rod Bolts
CTR Pistons
Balanced crank

B16/Type R Head
Crower Springs/Retainers
Skunk2 Pro2 Cams
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Port and Polish
Milled .030 over

B16B/TypeR Tranny (or a B16a/GSR w/ aftermarket LSD)

AEM/Whale ***** Intake
Rage Header
Skunk2 or custom cat-back

With a good tune that should be an easy 200whp with quite a bit of torque.
