can you use 84mm pistons in b16a3 block?

Default can you use 84mm pistons in b16a3 block?

i bought some b20 pistons for a b20 block but i change my mind for using them on my b20.. and i wanted to know if they would fit a b16a3 block with eagle, or darton sleeves.. you know resleeving the block.. but before i do i want to make sure i will be able to use them in my b16 block the pistons are arais pisonts 12.5 compression i bought them for b20 but will they fit b16 sleeved to 84mm? thanks ..

ya they will work with sleeves, you can bore the sleeves up to 85.5mm i think, but 84 is deffinently ok

allright then thanks.. but what type of crankshaft can i use any or aftermarket?

wow. search man. My mother can wonder onto this site and figure out that she could run 84mm pistons in her delsol engine.

uh u use the b16 crank and b16 rods the pistons can be put in anything thats resleeved and bored to 84mm

what will be the advantage of installing these pistons.

I think you will face head to pistons problem

you need to get sleeves...I myself am running 84mm JE 11.5:1 pistons...got my block resleeved with Darton Ductile Iron Sleeves

b16nonoy did you ever get a piston to valve contact because of the high compression piston?
