exhaust flex
what do you guys use for your ehaust piping in terms of flex. i wasn't aware of it until i ordered my 3" catback and the guy told me i would need a flex pipe. i have a 10" long flex pipe just after the o2 sensor right now but is this enough? i recently ordered ram mani. and the down pipe came with another flex pipe right after the 90 deg. bend. it's all scraped and busted so i was gonna cut that new flex pipe out and weld a straight pipe right to my original 10" flex pipe, will i be okay with my original 10" after the o2 sensor or will i need something else??
the 10" section starts about after the firewall. this is my third time doing it and it's been robbing me a lot of hp with leaks, i was just about to add a test pipe to solve it for good but the parts are expensive...
i am currently wondering the same thing, should i replace my flex pipe, or replace it with straight piping? i am getting sick of it rubbing through and giving one big exhaust leak.
you will need something to counter the movement of the motor when it moves back and forth or it will drag your whole pipe and it wouldn't be a pretty site. if i could do it over again i would've just replaced it with a test pipe. wouldn't have to worry about scrapping or rubbing.

Check out the ones that Vibrant makes. They seem to be a great design. Otherwise, just make sure you get a triple layer that's fully stainless. Some of them claim to be stainless, but don't have stainless ends. Ebay is the best place to buy these.
