Default Headlight problem

not in a honda, but alot of smart guys are in here
So my headlights are alittle ffunky. I drove around with my highbeams on instead of normal ones, and one of the high beams burnt out. then my daytime running lights stopped working. and i replaced the bulbs, and my highbeams and daytime running lights still dont work, only my headlights.

anyone got any suggestions?

yeah.. i've kinda been kicking myself for getting a gm...
anyone got a civic or crx i could get for cheap? lol

but yeah. the daytime running lights symbol on the dash just flashes from time to time. its kinda strange. Do you think the wiring could have been frayed or grounded out someplace?
