URGENT! CRX IS OVERHEATING!!
I just got a D15 Swap done, and the car was working fine. The otherday i had gotten off the highway and then my car started to overheat.
Radiator fluid was comming out of the radiator hose so i went to autozone to and got a new hose and it was fine. Now today it's not comming out of the hose, but comming out from the driver's side part of the engine, right by the lower axle (i think) and also some leaking from passenger side also. each time i drive i have to fill it up with fluid.
What could the problem be?
I can only think of these;
-Blown Headgasket ( I doubt it because the guy i bought the motor from said everything was good on the motor)
-Thermostat
-Waterpump
that's all i can think of, for the problem of this.
I'll try to get pictures ASAP when i can.
Any info would greatly be appreciated!!

before you put the engine in....did you replace the Timing belt and water pump? My bet is your water pump is done. but there are quite a few coolant lines in the bay that could be leaking.....
After you replaced the hose, did you bleed the coolant system? Could be just a bit of air getting trapped at your coolant temp sensor.

I didn't swap the engine in, the guy that i bought the motor from did it for me. Timming belt was replaced, but i'm not certain about the waterpump. I know my alternator was replaced because it went bad, but i doubt that has anything to do with this.
Coolant lines i'm not sure of. I Replaced the big whose that is at top of the engine. I didn't bleed any lines or anything
My mom had a similar problem with her eg, She said to just bleed it all out with water and get a new waterpump (because that is what she needed).

Your water pumps made to leak out of 2 holes when the seals down there low enough, that way you know its the water pump..thats my vote as to your problem
I'll get pics ASAP, 2morrow. It's getting kinda too dark outside.
As of now i really can't tell where it's leaking from. I'll get under the car and all that good stuff 2morrow.

Most likely its your waterpumps weeping holes telling you that you need to replace your waterpump, check behind the timing belt cover with a flashlight
Next bet would be leaking waterpump tube on the back of the block
Pinpoint the source before buying any parts
Get everything dry then see where its coming from

omg i drove the car without putting the radiator hose into the resivior. is this bad? I drove with it off for like 5 - 10 minutes, the thing is that the engine didn't overheat. i was wondering why and i took a look under the hood and it wasn't even on....
is that bad that i did it? or would it be like i bleed the system out because i did have the heat on, but i didnt have it on it's highest setting.

The leak on your drivers side is deff your water pump ! Replace it .
As far as the pass side , sounds like your skills with water lines suck and you need to replace any old worn lines and make sure there tight. Also dont forget to check the small 1/4" lines that run from the intake mani to your IACV. There bad about springing a leak if the motor gets to hot.
Hope this helps man.

Thanks, that helps alot. I've been searching online but i havent been comming up with anything. I'll going to have my mom's friend look at the car.
Everything should be fixed by this weekend.
Good thing to, with this good *** weather we've had in Chicago for the past couple of days, i can go on LSD and Whacker Drive and just go cruise
