Is the car a true SiR or is that what your friend calls it? What year is the Accord? What motor is in the Accord?

so, correct me if I'm wrong, but if he has a F20B and it's a manual tranny then it's actually a SiR-T right? And that would be the 97-01 or whatever years right? Cause the SiR in that year is only an auto tranny right? What year is his car?

The 5th Gen JDM Accord SiR doesn't matter on what tranny it has and would have a H22A motor.

yeah, you are right that it is a F20B. The only difference I know of between the same year Accord SiR and SiR-T is that the SiR is an automatic tranny and the SiR-T has a manual tranny.

So now you know that the engine he has is a F20B you can try finding a clutch to fit. Sorry, I don't know what clutch would fit. I would assume one from another F series but I'm not exactly sure.

yeah, I checked a couple sites as well but I didn't expect to see an option listed for the F20B. Have you tried calling and directly speaking with someone? Maybe they'll have some info that's not on their site that can help you?
