AT Solenoid buzzing/humming - is that normal or is it dying ?
I noticed a humming or buzzing type of sound that I think it is coming from one (or both) one of two AT solenoids that are right by the distributor near the exhaust manifold. Its not a loud sound but in a quiet garage with your head under the hood you can easily hear it.
Ofcourse the engine is not running, but the ignition switch is in the final "ON" position.
Is this normal or is it dying ?

Not Normal, you might pull it off and blast out the passages with some brake clean, it could be the pintle is sticking.
Any driveability problems or trans codes?

No codes yet.
The only driveablity issue that I could mention is that when it downshifts into first gear (like when slowing down to a stop), that shift is a little hard then it used to be. If I am braking just lightly I can actually feel something like a surge or push alongwith with that 'hard' shift. Doesn't happen like that shifting up or down into any other gear.
