Would like to hear personal preference on this topic, so i can get the right idea

Question - Would you prefer to use an obd2 motor (well ECU) or would you prefer to get the obd1 and just get a conversion harnes...

Just get the OBD2 and don't dick around with the conversion deal. Tuning software is such that it doesn't matter nearly as much what OBD you begin with unless you're trying to make 750hp - at which point OBD is relegated to the past tense by a complete-stand-alone system.
OBD2 is easier for you, so do that.

get a obd-2 cause your harness is obd-2 and you need everything to plug up directly. and if you wanna run obd-1 then just get a obd-1 ecu with a jumper harness
