Default putting in type one header... gasket question

im am installing a type one header into my 99 si and i was wondering if it is a must to replace this gasket pictured below as #3. the reason i ask is because it is on back order. i know that this is a metal gasket and i was wondering if it needed to be replace, such as if it had some sort of crush seal when it is installed.

As long as it is in good shape, you shouldn't have to replace it.

No, you shouldn't have to replace it. Just clean it well with some acetone or brake cleaner spray and you'll be good to go.
