plastic boost gauge hose got kinked.. still usable?

plastic boost gauge hose got kinked.. still usable?
got bent in half so there was a kink in it.. I got most of it out but you can still see where the plastic is white from being bent. Is this still usable, will it read boost accurately?

also, how do I get the plastic hose to lock into the boost gauge? It just sits inside the little fitting but isnt tight or secure
