Air Conditioning Question
Last summer i installed a new compressor in my hatch, along with a condenser. The A/C wasnt working completely due to a leak in the receiver dryer. It was the end of the summer so I decided to wait until next summer. I recently got into a fender bender, causing the condenser to leak. Today, just because it was nice out, i clicked on the a/c button and the compressor didnt engage. Is this due to the condenser? I just hope the compressor isnt shot. Thanks

For goodness sake it was 5 mins, till you bumped, I had to get some tastey cranberry juice.
What's leaking the condenser it self?

Yes. I have a new condenser + receiver dryer ready to be installed, but I just want to know if they are the reason the compressor isnt engaging.

Install the new condenser and trouble shoot is the way i'd look at it, if you are leaking you might not have enough a charge to hold the system on.

Thats what i'm thinking, im pretty darn sure thats the reason. But just wanted to be sure. I'm sure the system is bone dry, lacking freon. This is entirely possible though right?

If leaking yes it is possible.
If not, i'd start trouble shooting at wiring then hoses etc.

If it's leaking that bad then it's probbly safe to bet it's a dry system.
Good luck and hopfully A/C will be fixed, I love having A/C.
