Hello! I am bulding my first engine, just bought some head parts like are camshafts, retainers, valve spring etc... so I want to hear some opinion if everything is OK and help choice some I-BEAM Rods and Intake manifold.

B16A2 complete engine.
3 angle port and polished head
CTR pistons
ACL race 0.25 bearing
Buddy Club IV Camshaft
OEM rods - thinking about some I-BEAM but dont know which
Toda Valve Spring
Skunk2 Titanium Valve Retainers
AEM Cam gears
MSD Ignition -SCI - PN6300, external coil and cap
Highend TRI-Y Header
Some Intake manifold - Edelbrock PerormerX or some diferent?
Throtle body 68 - 70 mm
Password JDM (whale *****) intake
Fidanze Lightweight Flywheel
Unhortrhodox Racing crank pulley

So what do you think?
Which I-BEAM rods to use and which intake manifold will you recomand?

 

Sounds like a nice build. Im doing something very similar for my del sol soon. Id suggest SKunk stage 2 cams instead of the BCs and a Ported ITR intake mani and stock rods with ARP bolts. looks good. get an edelbrock throttle body though...65mm...its not really nessesary for a 68+..or get a stock type r TB..its the same size..

the toda valve springs you dont need...just get skunk2 if your going with there retainers..its not mandatory to be by the same maker..

but toda,spoon, mugen etc are over priced..

use the CTR(civic type r) crank pulley..they are like $65 or so from jdmland.com with a belt.

I am using eagle H beam rods...perfect for all motor or up to 400HP I believe...

 

I alredy have almost everything that i have wrote, only missing the intake manifold.

I have bought second B16A2 alredy built head with all things in so thats why I have toda, I will never buy it becouse it is to expensive for me but I have bought it with head, cams, retainers etc...
