Condition of my bearings

Default Condition of my bearings

How do my bearings look? I started to hear a some knocking on my motor so i pulled the motor out and starting to inspect it. what do you guys think? Is it the curlpit?

look good to me, i had the same problem as you, it turn out to be one of my piston ring land crack

looks pretty typical from what i have seen. I would probably replace the really scratched up one, but i bet it would still run fine for a long time like that.

yea those look pretty ok, once u start seeing a gold finish under the silver coating, thats when u know you have problems, but those seem to be ok

They look to be in ok condition from what i've seen in the past.. What's up w/ dem finger nails though... LOL j/P

Did you check the Main bearings. Was the noise always there after the enigne was built or did it just start, or is the block stock? Those rod bearing look really good.

as for the bearings id replace and have your crank and rods checked anyways
