why is my thermostat not opening up?
ive went through 3 thermostats, and then learned how to test them in the boiling water, and they are all good. but they are still not opening up. why?
that is kinda crazy... hmmm... did u put new coolant in it. maybe the coolant is old and thick. thats all i can think of. ive never had that problem but let me know if u find out what caused it. but if u havent changed ur coolant in a while... u might want to try that. srry im not much help.
did you refill the radiator with coolant?, bleed the system for air? do you still have the heater **** set so it goes to the heater core instead of directly into the lower radiator hose?
ok.. my radiator cap only can handle 6 pounds of pressure and it should be 9 so ive heard so im gettin a new one today along with fan sensor (fan aint coming on either) and we are going to flush the system and put new coolant in and bleed it
a question that relates to your problem. is there an worth while difference between an autozone, kragens, etc radiator cap and a honda cap?

with the t-stat and the temp switch not working i can almost guarantee you havent bled the system properly, the other possibility is a coolant passage is blocked. i HIGHLY doubt your temp switch went bad, if you actually tested it and it isnt working then it is probably covered in crap and cant get a good reading
