Default b20v vs. All Motor b16a2 ..

I have all the stuff for my b20 already.. and ready to do a b20v with my b16a2 but dunno if i should do it because of pigs if they pulll me over and pop my hood..

so I am wondering if I should just stay with my b16a2 and work on that..

I know with my b20v its much easier to hit 205+ whp then going all motor b16a2

I was wondering if you guys can give some ideas or tips on what I should do..

Sell my b20 stuff and go all motor b16a2? or stick with it and go b20v!

If I got b20v I already know what to do to hit 205+ whp with less $$ but if I go b16a2 what should I do to hit 205+ whp?? just a heads up . thx guys

man...i would go B20Vtec....i hear about people out here in cali getting their hoods pop open by cops but never happened to me :knocks on wood:...so i would just do that.....im sure you can hit 205+hp with your b16 but its gonna take $$$.....or you can just go b16turbo and do it at ease...

b20vtec for sure... if your going all motor.

BUT personally i'd opt to just b16 & give if 6-7psi of boost...

why bother swapping if your only going to make 200 and a bit ..i'd stay with sohc and build it then boost it. youll hammer all the b series around you.. i know i do all the time, no problem, even turboed b;s

If you're really concerned with the cops, then just stick with the B16 and bore/stroke it if you got the money. You can always put in a B17 crank, bore it to 84-85mm and it'll be a 1.8-1.9l. Add some decently high comp pistons and good cams and you can probably hit 200whp. It can be done as a 1.6 but its not easy.

You obviously don't know about all motor setups

if you scared of getting popped then dont do it. i had a lsvtec, b20 vtec, gsr, LS. i got state reffed with every motor and i just take it to the ref every time. expletive it, if you gonna do it theres consequences. but yeah just do the b20 vtec. best bang for the buck

if ur staying all motor, b20/vtec. but i'd still say 6psi on the b16 and u'll b happy, plus boosted is so much more fun anywayz, TRUST ME!!!! but if ur looking for numbers on all motor b16, when i had my em1. i only made 150whp w/aem cai, aebs intake manifold, dc sports header, full 2.5" exhaust, with NO cat.and thats all i put down, so b16 all motor is worthless, boost it!!!
