ehh....coilovers are over-rated. Most people dont know how to set them up. I do, but still, I'm willing to bet that I'd take down a lot of coil-over guys at the track. I have skunk2s. People will flame me, but they're good springs. Car handles great. Not to mention, i drive so well that i make michael schumacher look like a homosexual. I dunno, i heard a rumor that homosexuals couldnt drive very well, that's all.

Man nobody better say "dude, YOU'RE the homosexual"

Coilovers or stock !?!? Are you ppl serious ? You must all have deep pockets or you dont mind driving your car with a huge wheelwell gap.. I installed my S-tech's at 73k and now I have 107k miles. Still rides great and sits pretty nice. Could be a little lower but i'd be scrapin up that front lip if it was.

You're scared of scraping with S-techs?! You must live on streets with minefields, and potholes that were caused my minefields. My car's 2.25'' lower in the front with a lip and i'm never really worried about scrape-age. I take driveways and such on angles. lol but then again, i live in the kind of suburb where people drive their Denalis to plow (im not joking). Houses here have 3 story houses inside of them, so i must admit that the road quality is on the up and up since rich people have sensitive asses.

It's not bad i just hate hearing the sound of my ap2 lip sliding across concrete. Usually happens when i dont think a driveway or entrance is too steep and i go at it straight.

the thing with springs are
1. the strut isnt valved for the "spring" of choice
2. losing out on th elife of your strut
3. you are limiting the rim/tires you can run due to not having adjustability.

That why i noted how many miles my car had when i installed compared to now. They still ride great! Not to mention that the car has a great balance runnin azenis 225/40 rear and 215/45 front. It oversteers at the limit and is pretty managable. I like the spring rates way better than the stock 00 spring rates

typo???

yes but that all depends on road conditions each car drives on and how hard its driven.

In all honesty, my ZEAL b6's feel stiffer than my 10/12 flex did. I have 8k all the way around now.

You have a Spoon Hardtop and your worried about 2k for coilovers?

And in all honesty, you wont scrape with a lip and a 2'' drop if you know how to drive.

no sht sherlock. I said that above: Usually happens when i dont think a driveway or entrance is too steep and i go at it straight.

And my coilovers wouldn't cost 2k. I'd either go with showa adjustables or ohlins if i was going to invest in suspension. The HT's a neccesity given that this car has had the seats stolen twice.
