Cheapest Carbon Fiber Hoods!!!!!

i was wondering what you guys believe is the cheapest place to find varieties or normal Carbon Fiber hood, because i dont want to spend 550 For a C/F hood, thanks

The cheap CF hoods are just fiberglass hoods with a layer of CF thrown on top. A real carbon fiber hood, like one from Benen, is 100% carbon fiber, no fiberglass. That's whay they cost much more.

The fiberglass hoods with a CF coating are no different that putting a CF dash trim kit in your car. It doesn't make your car have a CF dash, it just looks like it.

At my store we sell VIS carbon hoods for 450 I bought one and they are actually pretty good quality.

I bought mine for $450 shipped straight from VIS about 2 years ago. Great quality. Even survived being sandwiched between a mercedes and an escort (mercedes rear-ended me). The hood got pushed and tucked under the bumper... it popped right out, with just some cracks in the clear resin. I'll probably get another one, but i don't feel like putting hood locks in another hood just yet, so i'll put up with the little cracks for now.
