Default CD PLAYER WONT TURN OFF!!!!!

I just put a cd player in today, checked the wiring and everything looks in order. But the problem is when the face plate is connected, with or without the keys in the ignition the cd player turns on and wotn turn off until I take the faceplate off.

The car is garaged at the moment so I went to check up a little over a week later, and the car was dead even with the faceplate disconnected.

Help or suggestions would be awsome.

did you by mistake hook the "remote" wire up to a constant source? that could cause this..

^^ By "remote", do you mean accessory? Sounds like he's got the red & yellow wires hooked to the same constant 12v source...

True "remote" wire is blue/white.
