I have a 1994 honda civic and when I start it, the starter wont disengage. the starter has been giving me some trouble recently but never like this... also, apperently last night someone tried to steal my car so the ignition/steering column is loose.

is it possible that the damage to the steering column would make it act like this or is it just time to get a new starter?

you need a new starter, but if someone tried to break in and steal the car, claim that through your insurance company and im sure you wont have to pay for anything

 

ehhh... its not insured and insurance wont cover thefts in this area cuz modesto is the car theft capitol of the USA and my car is # 2 most stolen
