painting rear bumper with bottle
hi all,
I don't have any tools or anything to start out with, but i have a new bumper for my car and i wanted to paint it to match it's original color. Will just using paint spray bottle work good enough? Has anyone paint their bumber with just paint bottle before?
I ask a price from places around my area, but they will cost me clost to 200$, and i just don't have that kind of money.
please give me advice
thanks

how many cans do you think i will need for a 96' ?
I'm a noob about cars. When i went to get some paint for my dads car, they ask me questions that confused me, even when they tried to explain it to me, it still confused me.
So what type of paint do i need ? What is prepping? Do i need to paint it with a primer first?

Do not paint.
I don't want to bring you down, but painting large body panels is not something to just nosedive into. You can make a really ugly bumper if you don't know how to prep, sand, and properly paint.
The fact that you don't know what prep is, and even question if you need to primer tells me you need to take it to a professional. I can paint up a storm, and even I wouldn't rattle-can a body panel. I am just not good enough to make it look factory with a rattle can. I can do it with a spraygun, but not an aerosol.

eran speaks the truth. you'll be happier paying someone though, instead of ending up with a large mess and money spent.
