Default Installing Intake/Header/Exhaust/Engine Mounts

Sometime soon, I'm gonna start installing all of this stuff on my 04 RSX-S. I have a moderate amount of knowledge of cars, I've mainly worked with old racecars, so the import thing is pretty new to me. I've installed exhausts and intakes before, although I've never touched Engine Mounts and Headers. I will be doing this in my garage on jackstands.

Any pointers before I get started? I'm just hoping this will go as smoothly as possible!

good advice.

I'd rather go somewhere and pay to have it installed, but obviously I would have trouble finding a place that will install a race header...

Do one mount at a time. Don't do the rear mount until you do the header. When you have the stock header and downpipe off, the rear mount is easy.

The header is just a matter of unbolting and removing the downpipe, followed by the heatshields and header. Very simple.

You should be alright, not to long ago I just installed intake, header, exaust on my integra GSR. It was my first time ever putting my car up on jack stands and getting under the hood. I was only 17 and it was all common sense, just bolt ons man.

Nake sure connect the ground wire that runs from the p/s mount to the chassis to make it run the from the engine to the chassis. Your ECU could be damamged from a lack of ground that side. Trust me.
