i have a 95 civic ex with a tired single cam.. im a single cam guy... but im looking to do something different with this car.. i was thinking to get a b16 second gen from h motors with complete swap and lsd trans... i know i know.. b16's are slow and tourqless but.. i just want a little fun n/a daily driver...

now what i was thinking is to put in ctr pistons they are only 169 from h motors and either get ctr cams or itr cams.. has anyone done this.. its pretty much a b16b once u get everything in there except for the head.. but the head is the same cast as the type r's just doesnt have the mild port job on it...

anyone have advice.. i like oem stuff.. its just easier for me to deal with then having to go aftermarket im also going to run new oem bearings oil pump water pump and headgasket..

no it's not pretty much a b16b and please search. you're not the first person to think of this combo.

lol yep ur right.. i totally forgor about the archives.. i havent been on ht for a while besides just giong to teh sohc d turbo thread.. thanks man.. found everything i need rep 4 u
