DC2 cupholder in CRX
dc2 cupholder in crx console. i was going for the factory look. i know its high, i didnt want to risk hitting the cupholder or cups when shifting. the pictures are all taken with my car in 5th gear. also, i didnt notice it before but the bottom edge of the cubbie holds the cup, water bottle up, rather then having it hang down. let me know you think. doesnt come close to hitting with hand when shifting, even if slamming gears. another option for all of us EF owners without a good cupholder, ebrake-seat doesnt work so well sometimes. hey moderator, please sticky or add this to the list of FAQs if it meets your satsifaction.

its holds them extremely well, the only problem would be something narrow like a redbull, but still the cubbie would hold it at the bottom as the pictures show. not an issue holding it in place yet. the angle also keeps the cupholder slightly closed to hold a smaller cup, bottle in place.
what about shifter length? yours looks pretty short. im not trying to dis on your mod, i like it. im just offering constructive criticizm
its a stock shifter i think (or a slightly cut down one)
remember, the shifter doesnt look as long with a console around it compared to just sitting there like EF hatches have it.

Oh I meant that I am using the dual-din which doesn't have the cubby hole in it. If I was going to do cupholders it would probably involve using the spot where the ashtray and cig. lighter are like the guy above did. But thanks for the offer!

yeah, that looks really good. i chose my route cause i always put small trash in my ashtray. and my car charger for my phone is always used on long trips. radar detector to be added shortly. i really wanted to keep it as OEM looking as possible. i was worried about my fist hitting the shifter, which it looks like if it was mounted at the bottom of the cubbie, it wouldnt hit my hand when shifting either.
