Im running a Y7 block but I have a Z6 head. I'm using a t3/to4e .48/.60 50trim. Made 273whp/224wtq at ~12.5psi.

A friend of mine has a complete Y7 tho (head and block) but it has pistons/rods. Precision SC50 (same specs as mine) and he made 296whp/256wtq (i forget the boost level).

andy</TD></TR></TABLE>You're speaking of the random chinese turbo I take it. IMO it's way too big if you're running a stock motor, and probably won't start making boost until almost 5000 rpm's. And even when it does spool up the turbo will be out of its efficiency range anyway, and will still blow some heat through it. Bigger is not always better, use the smallest possible turbo for the power goal you want to achieve.

Stock versus 10psi (NOT Dynojet numbers, note the deltas...)
FullRace Stage I t3/04

57 trim is fine but not with a greddy blue box.. you need tuning if you dont want to blow your motor.. id say 8-10lbs tuned would be a fun setup..
just dont 1/2 *** everything

For only 300hp get a 50trim with a .48 a/r exhaust housing.

It's a very nice setup you have there, not knocking that...but alot of money invested to barely hit the 180's @ 10psi, especially considering you can hit 220's and up from a 16g on a mustang dyno If it's a built block, crank it up...make good use of that turbo.<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by JoePSI &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">For only 300hp get a 50trim with a .48 a/r exhaust housing.</TD></TR></TABLE>Awesome turbo size for d16's. 60 trim's will take you a little bit higher too.
