quick question, im about to throw my ls v together, i have a fully built gsr head w/ skunk 2 springs and retainers, all new valve seals, ported and polished, shaved and im gonna build up my block, i was planning on buying cams further down the road when i put the block together, but im gonna use a stock LS bottom for now, im gettin itchy and i wanna know what cams are good for me to get get some more POWER right NOW! i was thinkin on gettin some skunk 2's but i wanted to get some more input. get at me ASAP!

 

anything bigger than a "stage 2" are going to want more compression than the stock block is going to give you if you want to bring the full potential out of them.

 

what type of compression am i lookin at if i go with the stage 3's

hmmi have a set of crower stage 2 cams for sale for 300$ and for 350$ id throw in aem true time adjustable gears, good for an all motor build.
