DX tps for an Si?
Si tps is broken. DX is good. will DX work? i know it's backwards or something? it's been a looooong time since i've played with EF's. thanks
i tried searching.. nothing specific, and there are over 380 MPFI swap threads.. and i don't have the time to look through each one.

i asked this question a while ago and all i got was straight up no, it wont work. so im assuming it wont work and passing on the knowledge.
well, i just figured it wouldn't right now too. i pulled them both off.. dang it. time to go to the junkyard.
in any case the actual reason is the fact that the "nub" that engages the TPS is in a different spot on the DX one.
thank you garageEF for your help.

They are opposite of each other and they won't work. I have one sitting on my shelf if you can't find one at the junkyard. I have a DX and an Si one. The Si type is the most common type and you'll find them anywhere. I've used it on my B18c for troubleshooting.

You are mistaken. You have to dremmel a slot into the the metal tab and unscrew it. It's just a screw with no type of notch for a screw driver.
