Default valve cover paint question

anyone know what formula/ substance/ paint they use to paint that rough black valve cover? thanks.

i think it is just powder coated. if you bring it to a place that does that they will know what it is for sure.

like the same paint on a stock b16,b18, h22, etc. mines are chipped and just want to repaint them. not powder coat. but haven't seen crackle or wrinkle paint before.

VHT wrinkle black is what you want I got the vht wrinkle red which looks just like the type-r valve cover color. It is really easy to use. I dunno if u have access to a sand blaster but I sand blasted mine cuz the paint stripper wasn't doing anything for it. That was 2 years ago and it still looks awsome
