hey guys, i am not getting enough torque out of my D16 tranny, when i accelerate the car like it barely want to move, any ideas how i could fix this?

 

check your transmission fluid. it can be low and it can cause your tranny to move right.

 

i did that and its reading good

 

i know the problem, its an auto.

no way around this besides putting a manual trans. in.

 

how many miles on your car?
with motor not running, have someone push the gas pedal down all the way and you look at the throttle body to be sure it is opening up all the way. There cold be too much slack in your throttle cable.

 

ok i will take a look at that asap. what u think will be a perfect swap for my civic a B16 2nd gen, or a b18C?
