Default Towing a civic with a tow bar... possible?

I plan on purchasing a shell but the car is 50 miles away. Can I use a tow bar to tow it? The car is drop so the angle will be more than the recommended 5 degrees. Anybody ever towed it with a tow bar?

Can you estimate the angle to the ground?

see how its straight... with a civic it would be a downward angle greater than 5 degrees.

try to buy a drop reciever for the hitch of the tow vehicle. they make them in 2" 4" and more radicle drops for those guys with big lifted trucks to tow with. this should bring you close to your 5deg angle.
or i just looked at the pic again, remove the ball flip it over and reinstall it, you have a 2" drop reciever then.

I helped my friend tow his coupe ~35 miles with just a crank belt. We just hooked one end on his tow hook and the other on the front bumper support and away we went. Only fell off 2 times.
