car running like go cart?
like the topic says...i started up my car today so i can go to the car wash to clean it. When i start to back out of my garage it sputters when i press on the gas. I finish backing it out and go to the rear of the car and listen to the exaust note and it sounds like a go cart or lawn mower...whichever you prefer. and when i try to move it around in my drive way anything more than 1/8 throttle and it sputters some more.
The check engine light started flashing and came on but when i hooked up my scanner to it. it said "no codes to display". i have no idea what the problem could be.
This is also the first time it's been out of the garage since december but i've started it up and let it run for a little bit about every other week and before i put it into storage i changed all the fluids, plugs and wires. this is the first time it's ever done this.
do you guys have any idea what this might be?

If you cleaned your engine bay, Its surely water in your spark plug wells causing misfire. Thats my guess. Remove wires and get all water out of plug well as well as out of connector area on wires. Compressed air in a can helps with this

Not necessarily. That's why it's always a good idea to use an air line with a nozzle to remove any more residual water when cleaning an engine bay.
As mentioned, check the plug wells and possibly the dizzy. Most likely it will be one of the 2.

He hasn't washed it yet.
I have heard that these cars like to throw codes when they have been sitting awhile.

my car does the same thing, usually happens when the car hasn't been started in a while, but it stops after about 20 seconds. is it still doing it or was it just that one time you started it?
