Need Help!! 98 GSR b18c1 swap into 92 Integra
I am having problems with this.. The engine doesn't idle at all and its dumping fuel, ............... ok, The teg is obd1 so I took the old obd2 engine harness off the motor when I out it in and I tried to hook up my old obd1 engine harness to the b18c1, I had to change my injector plugs, distributor and few other things, like map, tps, but there are a few sensors that are not hooked up there is no plugs left on the obd1 engine harness.. I do not know what I need to hook up and what I do not need to hook up.. Ok ECU,, I tried my stock integ computer, to see if it would run, no go, and lots of codes, I got a P30 from my friend,. same thing. you can keep it running but you have to play with the throttle alot, and it keeps popping back through the IM,. If anybody has any information at all I would really appreicate it!!!, I am pretty much clueless at this point.
Thanks\
UPDATE: I unplugged the map sensor and a few other sensors, It seems to not be burning so rich.. but now, it seems to be running on like 3 cyls. There is spark on all four, but the plugs carbon up really fast. I think it is the ignition timing but I played with the distributor and it dont make a difference. I also took off the leg sawed old odb1 distributor and wired tbe plugs off that onto the odb2 distributor that came with the b18c1. all the colors match perfectly so thats not a problem. I just dont know what else would make the ign timing out of wack, but I think that once I figure out what that problem is all I got left is to wire vtec, which I dont know how to do yet and then it should be completed.. I just hope it makes me a little faster than I was with the stock motor!!
