Considering your have a stock hardline, they'll make your clutch feel sloppier.

yeah all my drivetrain is stock, but i was thinking that the line would send the driver more feedback from the clutch.. cuz it wont be "spongey".

well in what application would this be a good mod?

It would be a good appliccation in a shaved engine bay where you're trying to eliminate hardlines. A hardline will always give a more positive feel, because there is zero flex.

so are you saying the stainless steel clutch line will "flex more" compared to the metal piece of tube in the OE.... and this would be worse, or what?

Yes, they would flex more, and yes, this is bad. The line flexing in diameter reduces pressure. Less pressure = less positive feel.

They're a cosmetic upgrade.

The only "upgrade" you need is this

replaces the rubber hose piece that the hard line has

off topic a little bit but also worth while changing out your brake lines too!

so there is a rubber section in the line? i see, so with it can do you feel like you have more feedback from the clutch, and does it grab harder or what?

this is what u get with the clutch line. it replaces no hard lines, just the one rubber one.

if you look at the rubber clutch like, its very weak and easy to squeeze and stuff, thus flexing alot under pressure (clutch). if you replacae it with a SS line, it wont nearly flex as all, giving a more responsive clutch feel.

just my .02 but i used that line with my rps stage 4 pressure plate and after 6mo the line exploded in the center.. i made my own hard line with plenty of flex left for it, problem solved..

yeah i have to say the best bet would be to use ss hardline the whole way to the slave but b/c the engine has to move, they use a rubber hose but really there are many people that use ss braided lines the whole way and do not have problems. It looks much better and then u can hide the line where ever you want and not have the ugly greenish hardline on your fire wall. Cleans things up asthetically and functionally by getting it out of the way.

I knew my tech, I just didn't know the part you were talking about. I've seen many a person replace all their hardlines with ss braided line when they're doing engine bay tucks.

yea i would agree that the WHOLE replacement ss line that the people who are doing tucks in my opinion are a waste of money and MAY no proof offer a little bit of flex then the greenish hard line honda put on there BUT having said that in my opinion from a performance standpoint ALL you need is the ss line i depicted nothing more nothing less because that rubber hose your going to replace or SHOULD replace with the SS is the bottle neck or weak point in the system nothing
else!

ALSO there is a website that i have also ordered from for friends ss lines weather it be brake or clutch that are cheaper then any other website i know of for example SS clutch line here is only $25

check it out.......
