Default My new Intercooler Piping

all the piping are made of aluminum, and are tigged welded by me. hope you all like, and any advise on my welds this is my third time doing aluminum thanks.

finished product





still missing two pic of the hot side and a front shot i will try to have those up as fast as possible.

Nicely done. I like the piping shape. It's gotta be a bitch trying to get those angles right. Can I see a pic of your beading tool?

yes i will put one up tomorrow it was about 400-450 but it works like a champ..

Is that a cast aluminum elbow on the IC hotside endtank?

Pretty good for your third time welding AL.

yea those are cast aluminum bends got them for 32 bucks a peace from mazworx
and the first bead roller you posted is the bead roller that our shop uses as well works real good.

Piping looks great, esp since you made it all yourself.

But I just have to let you know about restrictions of sharp angles & such. To sum it up, three 45* bends will create the same restriction as one 90* bend, given the same radius for all bends and equal piping distance. In other words, it might actually flow better with slightly longer piping that uses larger-radius bends, and it seems like you have the space. Please don't think I'm thread-crapping though. I barely have the funds to do steel piping with my college budget.
