Default cruise control question

ok....

if i take out my cruise control...which i dont use and im not 100 percent it even works

will that help my cars performance at all

well that 5lbs lost will gain you 10hp LOL, na not really but it will clean up the engine compartment a lil'

no performance gains, if it's a vacum line one then you'll have to plug the intake manifold as well after you remove it.

find your cruise control module, it's usually circular with a few wires and a hose that comes off one end that goes to your intake manifold. Location varys from the front drivers side or the aft passenger side.

once you find it, look for a hose that goes from the module to the intake manifold.

I don't have the stock one in my car anymore, H22 swap had it removed and I installed an aftermarket one that only uses VSS pulses. so I have no pictures for you.
