Default Intake control solenoid question

I remove the intake control diaphragm since it was part of my resonator... now I just have the vacuum hose that comes from solenoid valve as you can see from the pic.... what I do with this hose? do I still need to connect this to something? would it affect the car since it not connected no more? this is on a 01 lude

The vacuum line runs back up to your intake manifold. Pull the line out of the car and plug the port it ran to on the intake manifold. I noticed in your thread in the Prelude forum that you have a pic of the intake manifold and a plugged port, in which you said you were not sure what the port was for but you plugged it up. That port was the one for the solenoid valve.

na it what's plug before I took off the solenoid valve so if I take that one in the pic off I'll 2 port open....

but my main concern is if I take this off would it be ok with the car is not going to cause my a problem in the future... that's what I'm worry about....
