Default best bolt ons for mpg

i was wondering if anyone knew the best bolt ons that cause better gas mileage or do not detrement gas mileage while gaining power? i have a 98 civic dx with a stock D16Y7

You're not going to see any real improvements (power wise) with bolt-on's...but a good place to start is some form of cold air intake, headers, and an exhaust system...

Check out gassavers.org they have lots of info on modifying you car to get the best gas mileage.

Jack up your tire pressure and/or get realy hard compound tires

i have actually noticed a mpg increase one every car ive driven when i installed an intake and k&n filter.

now this only works if you drive normal.

if you like the sound too much and drive like a jack *** street racer then mpg gets worse
