I heard about this and made sure to ask all the vedors i contacted and they all said that they have never heard any problems fitting precision injectors into a Z6 intake manifold. And it seems that plenty of people are using precision injectors with no fitment probs.

On the injectors, there is a little metal lip that prevents the injector from seating deeper into the intake mani. Is it supposed to just sit there or do i have the wrong injectors???

NO, its not injector seal related.

dont know but i have precision 780's in my z6 manifold and they fit perfectly.

post a pic of it.. you probably have wrong injectos. only thing i can think of.

 

I think i figured it out... its normal for the precisions to kind of just sit on the machined lip of the manifold, and not protrude down into the manifold like the OEM injectors corect?

anyhow... i have them in and i guess i'll soon find out.
