I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Hope you have a good tank and gun or else that bolt isn't gonna budge. I went on ebay and bought some tool to keep the pulley still and used a breaker bar and it came right off. I think I paid $25 for it.

yeah those bastards are TIGHT! make sure you oil your impact with some pneumatic tool oil. if not, the crank pulley holder will do the trick too. good luck.

The book says to wrap a chain wrench around the pulley to hold it. I went and got one so i could do my timing belt and cam. It worked great.
