Its your car, and you are going to get flamed about your altezzas.. H-T likes to tell you what to do with your car, so be prepared.

My opinion though would be to sell the 17's, roll around on the 14's and find some nice 15's or 16's, which ever you prefer.

 

just so everyone knows i dont roll with altezzas lol i think they look gay and i am considering selling them for some 16" rota boosts in either black or gold

inners are oem, outers are what we qualify as altezzas.

wheels are ok - if you like them, keep them. i'm sure 90% of the comments about those wheels you will get are going to be negative.

 

clear tails are OG altezzas... but yea Id go with your 16s and get rid of both sets of ugly rims

 

The term altezza tail light comes from the the Toyota Altezza aka Lexus IS300. Crystal clear with red lights = altezza style. What he has are just clear tail lights. There's nothing "altezza" about them.

since your asking our opinions ...

i think those taillights make ur car look crosseyed.
they look worse than altezzas to me.
i would drop your car, get factory tails, sell the rims, and buy a different set
but a drop and replacing the tails would be my first priority.

Sell the 17s, keep the OE 14s and put some sticky *** tires on them. Thats all I have to say. Good luck with the car man.

ive already got it lowered on tein s-techs and im planning on putting some tokico 5-way adjustable struts it just looks high cuz i only put the 17's on one side for the pics, and theres really nothing ricey on my car i think the tail lights look clean, and i mean this is just my daily driver dont u see the rx-8 in the background lol

Its your car, do what you like. I would use that 190hp 3000lb rx8 as my daily and turn the civic into a weekend warrior.

I just wouldn't trust an RX8, first they say it has 5% less HP than advertised, then the oil meters go out in them producing even less HP and causing rough idles.. damn cars were starving themselves of oil.. I hope if you got yours prior to last year you got the PCM updated ... /rant

 

sell those ******* ugly *** tail lights, throw away those retarded *** 14's, lower your car another inch, and stick with the 17's

If it were me deff. replace the outer tails with oem... Sell the 17s while rolling on the 14s and then sell the 14s after you get the new rims... use the money to buy some suspension,, these cars are so much more fun if you have a good suspension set up along with good tires... just my .02
