Inspection of '89 CRX HF - Results! What should I do?
Just got my crx inspected by Honda World and here are the results:
Recommend transmission due to bearing noise, and clutch assembly (not too worried about it)
Recommend left drive shaft
Recommend complete cooling system re-hose with thermostate / cooling fan switch
Recommend front engine mount. apparently one shows cracked (advisor told me not to worry about it. the mount wont break)
Recommend oil pan gasket (not severe at all)
Recommend distributor o-ring
Recommend heater control panel (dont care)
Recommend timing belt package - drive belts are weather cracked
The advisor told me that I should prioritize a few things above all else:
1. timing belt package
2. left drive shaft
3. cooling system re-hose with t-stat and cooling fan switch.
I wanted to get your opinions on what I need to fix and what I can live without. The car has about 168,300 miles on it. Stock motor.
Also, where is best place to get replacement parts? Majestic Honda?
Thanks in advance everyone!

Unless it's shifting funny or grinding, no sweat, Honda dealers always mention this problem on older cars to sucker you into replacing unneccessary parts
Recommend left drive shaft
If your steering wheel wobbles at highway speeds or you get clicking noises when turning you should replace it
Recommend complete cooling system re-hose with thermostate / cooling fan switch
Unless they're cracked or spongy, hoses should be fine, thermo should be changed if it takes a while to warm up, cooling fan switch should at least be tested first
Recommend front engine mount. apparently one shows cracked (advisor told me not to worry about it. the mount wont break)
Generally this is true.. not a problem unless you're getting some serious wheel hop or vibration
Recommend oil pan gasket (not severe at all)
If it's not leakingm it's fine
Recommend distributor o-ring
See above
Recommend heater control panel (dont care)
Very common, CRX Toad sells replacements
Recommend timing belt package - drive belts are weather cracked
If it's been at least 60,000 miles since the last one or you're unsure of the last one, change this along with the tensioner and possibly the water pump while you're down there

Definitely suggest getting parts here

There you go man, hope it helps. Try tightening up your O2 sensor to spec while you're at it... take it out and buy some threading tape from an auto parts / hardware store and wrap the threads before re-installing, it helps create a tighter seal.. Not neccessary, but a suggestion nonetheless. Good luck!
